Taft Primary School, part of Kankakee School District #111, is a kindergarten through third grade center, located in Kankakee, Illinois. Our school has twenty classrooms serving approximately 470 students. As a part of our school, we have two Magnet Programs -- Fine Arts and Science & Technology.
Taft Primary School's staff believe that a safe and nurturing environment will promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development for all children. We believe that this environment will cultivate the children's talents and gifts, giving hope to their future, bringing joy to their heart, and stimulating a self-motivation to acquire, cherish and embrace knowledge.
As a student of Taft School, it is my goal to show respect and responsibility while learning to the best of my ability.
