following Kankakee School District 111
schools have been named to the 2006 Illinois
Honor Roll of Schools. The Illinois Honor Roll celebrates the
accomplishments of public schools that
are providing high quality education for all of their students.
Spotlight

All schools must be making AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress).
Edison Primary School, Taft Primary School, Aroma Park, and Montessori Magnet School
Improvement Schools -- must be making substantial gains in performance over the last three years. Schools must show at least a 7.5 point increase in percent of students meeting or exceeding standards in 2005-2006 or a 15 point increase from 2004 - 2006.
