• Construct a simple scale drawing of different rooms in museum

7.  Ok, let’s write about our adventure.

Pretend that you were trapped inside of the Metropolitan Museum for several days. Write about your experiences.

• Pick 3 galleries that you would have visited if you had stayed in the museum.   Write one paragraph about each gallery and tell what you saw and what you did there.

• Describe in detail 3 objects that you saw in one of the galleries that you visited. [Click on picture of object and READ description.]  Tell what gallery you are in.
  
• What other places did you visit in the museum during the day?  What did you do for fun?
  
• In what gallery did you sleep? What furniture or object did you choose to sleep on? How did you feel at night ?
  
• If you had enough money to make one phone call for someone to come pick you up, who would you call? Why would you choose that person? What would you tell them?
  
• Write a persuasive paragraph to a student in your school.  Give them several reasons why they should read the book.

Jamie and Claudia joined a group and toured the Egyptian Arts gallery.  They were very interested in the mummies.
