Kankakee Junior High School

Kankakee Junior High School is a family, and I am a member of that family.

As a member, I pledge to be positive, productive, and proud.

I will treat others as I wish to be treated.

I will respect other people and their property to foster a safe, calm, and peaceful environment

and to fulfill all requirements expected of me.

One school, one family with respect and dignity for all.

All students are required to take math, social studies, English, science and reading. Along with these core selections, students may audition for classes in the district’s Performing Arts Magnet—drama, dance, pottery, orchestra and chorus, which meet each morning at Lincoln Cultural Center, or enroll in Survey classes which consist of technology, music, art, and family science.
